Team 3 visited Turner’s one-of-a-kind Virtual Reality Lab on Tuesday!! The students learned about the real world benefits of 3D modeling and how exploring the virtual environment can help owners make decisions about their projects. Outside of the tangible benefits, the students got to play in several “just for fun” virtual modules. We also had a few brave students try to walk the plank and several who tried their hand at stacking boxes.

ACE Mentor of Nashville held their 15th annual Scholarship Banquet on Thursday April 21 at Rocketown in Nashville.
$41,500 was given to students from schools in Davidson, Williamson and Rutherford County Schools counties. A crowd of over 400 attended to share in the excitement of the evening.

Members of ACE Team 3 toured the new Franklin, TN campus of Columbia State Community College on Tuesday December 1, 2015.
Thanks to the help of members of the Hoar Construction staff, the team was able to view and learn about the new facility. They visited a new chemistry lab, a soundproof music room and a video filming studio.
Thanks to the volunteers for Team 3 for providing this tour for our students from Williamson County Schools.

ACE Mentor of Nashville & Middle Tennessee is holding their annual summer camp this week at MTSU in Murfreesboro. Day 1 got started with a panel that included the following:

- Holly Baird, Executive Director of USGBC Tennessee Chapter
- Tiffany Goulet, with Nexgen (Tnemec) Coating Resources

The annual ACE Mentor Banquet is just one week away here in Nashville.
Joey Hatch of Skanska, one of the founders of ACE Mentor in Nashville, will be our keynote speaker.
This event brings together all 9 of the teams we support here in the Nashville and Middle Tennessee area, including students from Davidson, Rutherford and Williamson counties.
